EMP Process
The Table Mountain Equestrian Forum (TMEF) was established by the equestrian community in 2018 to facilitate the update of the Environmental Management Programme (EMP) for horse-related activities in Table Mountain National Park, at the request of SANParks. The EMP has a set of approved equestrian trials and also a Code of Conduct that applies to horse-riding anywhere within the park.
The process towards finalising the EMP is underway and should be concluded in 2022. For more information visit www.tmef.co.za
